Export content of nodes to Excel
Jenni Morton-Humphreys
I use Nvivo to code survey responses, and I write a summary report. However, I would like to be able to provide an Excel spreadsheet of all the content I have coded so that readers of the report can quickly filter (by node name) and read the responses themselves.
It is not very helpful to be able to export a list of nodes to Excel, without the content, or the content to .html. Up til now I have had to do lots of copy pasting to make my own spreadsheets.

Yes agree, for qual research seeing responses side by side (not numbers/counts) would be useful. Current process is labourious, ie.- -Create matrix in Nvivo
- Click on the number in a cell to open the text.
- Copy-paste the output (ie. The referenced output) into a new matrix in excel (or right click text and choose export to word)
- Repeat process for every cell in the matrix
