Request Feature

It would be good to be able to open a code straight away in a new window (so that I can view references) without needing to have to open it in the sidebar first. The way it works now means that you have to sit through the laggy process of opening the code while everything else freezes. Having the New Window option available by default would save this carfuffle

It'd be great to view imported text files in an inverted or white-on-gray view to ease eyestrain during coding. The dark mode interface is lovely, but the white text window gets intense after a few hours.

The dark theme in the Mac version of NVivo is great. I really wish the Windows version had this as well, as it is very, very white and bright.

I think this is a very basic features that are necessary--to export annotations. I was rather surprised when told by the tech support that this feature did not exist.

Import of Microsoft Word documents removes footnotes, comments, etc. Need to maintain integrity of imported MSWord files.

Please develop automatic coding of timeline based on the chosen contents that were coded. I need to compare how long each participant speaks during group discussion, not word counts. At the moment, I have to do it manually which is time-consuming.

If I am searching for a specific phrase, like "my interests," the software should not exclude any of those words, even if they're on the list of stop words. The whole point of surrounding a phrase with quotation marks is to find the whole phrase...

We can't extract coded text with annotations :-(

I'm using NVivo 12 for Mac for research and would like to print, export, view or move all my annotations but can't find the solution to do this - only a list and link to original source. The software won't allow to cut and paste into new NVivo document which would really help me. Any solution?

This feature is available on Windows but currently not on MAC. There are ways to work around the problem but it would take a lot of time for big data.
