Allow for high resolution screens

I have a 3200 x 1800 laptop screen and NVivo 12 Plus is not properly displaced making the programme unusable. I have to downgrade the screen resolution to 2560 x 1600 for NVivo to work. That means as I shift between programmes I have to adjust the resolution back and forth. I suggest SQR update the software to allow for high resolution screens.

VinceQSR: Thanks for the update. Will this also be implemented for the Mac version?
V

Jo: The mac version already supports high resolution screens
Jo
VinceQSR: Oh, OK, but why are all the icons so small? Can I make them bigger? (I have accessibility issues and the small icons and text in the ribbon are very hard)

Did you try going to (Windows) display settings and reduce the scaling? This worked for me as a workaround for now, and it is easy enough to undo when you are not using NVivo. I reduced my scaling from 150% to 100%

On my old laptop the resolution was 3200 x 1800 with the recommended 250% scaling. I have just switched to another laptop with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a scaling of 200%.

We are currently improving support for high resolution settings. Just a quick survey to help us achieve this for you.
What resolution setting do you use?
What scaling do you use? e.g. 150%
Laptop or stand alone monitor?

VinceQSR: Hi - very glad to hear this. Use a 4K 32" monitor, at 150% scaling on Windows 10.

VinceQSR: I have the same issue: many buttons show up off my laptop screen and so cannot be accessed. Screen resolution is 1920x1080 and scale is 150%. Thank you.

BTW: do we know if anyone actually reads this?

Yes, please this fix this. This is really annoying. My eyes cannot tolerate any of the fuzziness of text, so I have to disable scaling to be able to use NVIVO. But the side effect is that some of the menu text is too small and the right sidebar doesn't work properly. Please fix this ASAP. Most other software has dealt with this a while ago. A little embarrassing that NVIVO hasn't.
