Nvivo won't close on mac

Tried using nvivo on mac for the first time and the application wont close. I close the window, try closing it on the bottom tab by right clicking and pressing quit but it remains open all the time. I'm unable to restart my laptop or anything because NVIVO won't close!

NVIVO page is refusing to close and is preventing me from restarting my MAC. I have tried many times to close is but the page is completely frozen. However when I open it from my files it works fine and the frozen page dissappears. NVIVO programme is also refusing to delete from my MAC.

Hi Georgie, You could try force closing NVivo if no project files are open. To do this, Go to Apple Menu (top left corner) , select ‘Force Quit’, select NVivo from the list and click ‘Force Quit’ . Note, any unsaved work in open project(s) may be lost. Once NVivo is closed, try to restart your computer and see if the issue persists. Let me know how you go. Regards - NVivo Support
