Converting MAC to PC

I have been working on transcriptions, editing Nvivo's automated work for several hours. Making sure to save everything manually and making use of the automatic save function. I closed and reopened a project to find all the transcriptions gone. Poof. As if nothing was done by NVivo or myself. What can I do to recover my work?!

I don't know why but in using NVivo after the recent update whenever I try and edit a memo the cursor jumps right to the top of the page every time I write something. Really REALLY irritating.

For example, I was just on row 300. I clicked edit transcript, and the transcript reloaded at row one. This is really annoying, especially if you don't remember what row you were up to.

edit function -annoying page refreshed Myriam D I just updated to the latest version of The Nvivo for Mac; It occured in this new version that my file page which is a transcript will refresh itself after I finished editing so the page will jump to the very beginning of the transcript, and I had to scroll down every time to find my current working place. And sometimes, the editing made the Nvivo run unstably, as it overridden all my recent codes and the app froze after I finish editing some words in the transcript and uncheck the "edit" option. In the previous version, I never encountered issues like this. I would prefer the previous stable usage of editing. July 18, 2023 Activity Feed Sort by Michelle Dyason i'm having similar issues. i'm editing and after about 2 or 3 edits it will refresh or something. it goes blank then it returns at the top and i then cannot edit even when edit is selected in the file. i save and close it open it again then repeat: i can edit for about 2 or 3 edits (ie spaces or delete is one edit each) then it refeshes and again. i'm going grey with each passing moment

El software es bueno, pero tengo un problema. He estado 7 días intentando hacer la nube de palabras y no he tenido ningún resultado. Al intentar crearla aparece "la consulta no arrojó resultados" sin embargo, no es posible! Aún me quedan 2 días, espero lograrlo...

I am coding a text document. I undocked the text document window, and after a while Nvivo crashes. It has happened several times, on different computers, once last year, and now. It also happened when I opened an audio file that I was coding. I submitted a crash report.
