Text Search closes after coding

The explore/text search results window closes when I code any items in the results section. This is very frustrating because I have to repeat the search for each individual item that I wish to code.

Hi Michael, What you are experiencing is the expected behaviour. Your query results will close if you edit or code the sources included in your query. This is because the query results may no longer be valid (E.g if you ran the query again, the changes you have made might mean the results are different than earlier). Hope this helps. NVivoSupport: thank you for the reply. This makes no practical sense. If I have 20 documents with the word 'blue' in them, I can only edit one at a time which means I have to run the search 20 times.

NVivoSupport I worked out a solution. If I click on each file listed before i start coding then it works.

NVivoSupport: tried my own fix but really frustrating. Is there no way round this? If the text search brings up 20 documents, I then need to run the search 20 times to code?
